PMC Aids Barangays with Medical Supplies through SDMP

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR — In a continued effort to improve community healthcare services, Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC), through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), turned over Php 200,000.00 worth of medicines and medical equipment to Barangay Consuelo, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur on April 11, 2025.

The ceremonial turnover was attended by the ComRel staff of PMC headed by For. Gladess Dianne S. Buot, barangay officials and health workers, with Punong Barangay Hon. Gregorio B. Maloloy-on expressing his heartfelt gratitude to PMC President Atty. Raul Villanueva and the entire company for their unwavering support. He also reminded Barangay Health Workers to ensure the proper handling and timely distribution of medical supplies.

“Siguraduhon nga ma-check ang mga tambal kung naa bay mga expired aron dili masayang, ug ipanghatag dayon ang vitamins sa katawhan hilabi na sa mga kabataan. Dili ko gusto nga mahutdan og tambal ang atong health center kay kini ang pinaka-importante nga serbisyo nga atong mahatag sa katawhan sa Consuelo,” he emphasized.

The same medical assistance was also extended to other barangays in Bunawan, with the following provisions made on various dates:

Barangay San Marcos – Php 137,315.27 worth of medicines, medical supplies, equipment, and fixtures (turned over on March 14, 2025)
Barangay Libertad – Php 119,183.51 worth of medical supplies and equipment (March 17, 2025)
Barangay San Andres – Php 135,000.00 worth of medicines and medical equipment (March 19, 2025)
Barangay Bunawan Brook – Php 100,000.00 worth of medical supplies and equipment (March 19, 2025)
Barangay Nueva Era – Php 200,000.00 worth of medicines and medical equipment (March 19, 2025)
