BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR — Philsaga Mining Corporation conducted an earthquake and chemical spill drill at the Settling Pond and Mechanical Complex on August 21, 2026. The activity aimed to assess the effectiveness of the company’s established procedures for Chemical Spill (EMS-SHD-PRD-08) and Earthquake (EMS-SHD-PRD-03), and to evaluate the preparedness and readiness of employees and the company’s Incident Management Team (IMT).

The drill was successfully concluded with a closing meeting, during which an evaluator from the Philippine Red Cross - Agusan del Sur shared observations and recommendations. Responders and members of the company’s IMT also identified areas for improvement to further enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
