BISLIG CITY, SURIGAO DEL SUR — When disaster strikes, the hardest part of recovery isn’t just picking up the pieces—it’s finding the strength to rebuild. PMC-MMPRC Foundation, Inc. initiated a relief goods operation for 48 families in Purok 6, Maraville District, Barangay Tabon, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur.
The operation brought essential building materials and daily necessities directly to the community to help residents restore their homes:
480 corrugated sheets, 50 sacks of rice (5 kg each), 50 family-size pots and pans, 50 sleeping mats, and 50 blankets. The foundation also extended burial assistance to bereaved families and cash assistance to the Barangay Local Government Unit.
On behalf of the community, Barangay Captain Hon. Eladio A. Galano shared heartfelt gratitude for the support. He noted that these supplies are more than materials; they are hope and a tangible opportunity to rebuild their homes and lives together.
