
First Cycle EMS Internal Audit 2026
ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - The First Cycle of the Environmental Management System (EMS) Internal Audit for 2026 was successfully conducted last February 16–25, 2026, as part of the company’s continuing commitment to strengthen compliance and effective implementation of the EMS. Led by Engr. Mark Angelo M. Agustin and Engr. Marriah Alexei V. Baguio from the Audit and Systems Improvement Department, under the guidance of Engr. Mary Divine Grace S. De La Peña, Environmental Compliance Officer.
The audit covered multiple departments through designated audit teams. Despite challenges, the audit was concluded successfully through the collaboration and dedication of both auditors and auditees. The process enabled clear compliance evaluation, identified areas for improvement, and reinforced the organization’s dedication to environmental stewardship.
During the closing meeting with Top Management, Engr. Alvin B. Castaños, Resident Manager, expressed his appreciation to the audit team for their efforts. He also emphasized the importance of continuous improvement and encouraged all departments to remain committed to enhancing environmental performance to support the company's overall betterment.
