ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR — Philsaga Mining Corporation proudly honored its Longevity Awardees in a special ceremony celebrating the years of dedication, perseverance, and unwavering commitment of its long-serving employees.
These men and women, whose service reflects not only the passage of time but also the depth of commitment behind every achievement of the company, stand as the living pillars of the organization.
In his closing remarks, PMC President Atty. Raul C. Villanueva reflected on the company's challenging journey and the crucial role employees played in overcoming it. He recalled that when he assumed the presidency during difficult times, the Board of Trustees tasked him with transitioning the company from small-scale to large-scale mining.
"Because of you, dear employees, we achieved this goal," he said, also citing the workforce's resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, noting that about 95% of employees remained operational despite the crisis. Amid current production challenges, he said that the recent increase in gold prices has helped sustain the company's operations.
The President emphasized the importance of faith, family, integrity, and unity, reminding employees to treasure both PMC and MMPRC so that they may continue to prosper for many decades. He likewise encouraged everyone to care for one another in the workplace.
"This is a challenge to all of you. Everyone is responsible. Even if we are struggling, let us continue—because we are TIGERS," he declared.
