Small-scale vendors play a vital role in the economy, yet they often face various challenges in sustaining their livelihoods.  The Libertad Vendors Association in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur is a group struggling to make ends meet.  However, thanks to a recent project implemented on June 30, 2021, they are receiving much-needed support.

The project, with a total cost of Php 300,000.00, is aimed at supporting the 36 members of the Libertad Vendors Association.  The project focuses on providing the vendors with the necessary resources to help them improve their business operations, increase their income, and enhance their standard of living.

The project includes provision of financial assistance, training, capacity-building, and the establishment of a community store.  The financial assistance will allow the vendors to purchase additional supplies and equipment.  The training and capacity-building component will also equip the vendors with essential business skills, such as financial management, marketing, and customer service.

Perhaps, one of the most notable components of the project is the establishment of a community store.  The store provides a centralized location for the vendors to sell their products, increasing their visibility and making it easier for customers to access their goods.  This approach has the added benefit of fostering a sense of community among the vendors, promoting collaboration and mutual support.

Overall, the Support to Libertad Vendors Association project is a prime example of how targeted interventions can make a significant difference in the lives of local communities.  By helping small-scale vendors, we can contribute to the growth and development of our economy while helping to uplift those who need it the most.
