Access to clean and safe drinking water is a basic necessity that should be available to everyone.  Unfortunately, this is not always the case in some areas, including Sitio Hagnaya in Brgy. Mambalili, BADS. Recognizing this need, a Water Refilling Project was implemented in the area from July to November 2020 with a cost of Php 1,030,914.57.

The project aimed to address the problem of accessible potable water in the community and provide an additional source of income for its members.  Through the establishment of water refilling stations, the community now has a reliable source of clean and safe drinking water.  The project was managed by the respective association of the community, ensuring that the income generated from the project would be utilized to improve their quality of life.

The water refilling project not only addressed the issue of accessibility to potable water but also created an opportunity for economic empowerment.  Members of the association are now earning additional income from the project, allowing them to provide for their families and improve their overall financial standing.

The Water Refilling Project in Sitio Hagnaya, Brgy. Mambalili is an excellent example of how community-based initiatives can address the basic needs of its members while providing economic opportunities.  Through this project, the community now has access to clean and safe drinking water, and its members are empowered to improve their financial well-being.
