Preparedness Saves Lives
ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – The Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC) conducted a full-scale fire drill at the ECS compound on 19 March 2026, demonstrating its strong commitment to emergency preparedness. The Safety and Health Department led the activity, and the Bureau of Fire Protection Rosario supported the exercise.
At the sound of the fire alarm, personnel promptly followed established fire safety procedures and calmly evacuated the building through designated exits. They moved to assigned assembly areas, where headcounts were taken to ensure everyone’s safety. Trained responders carried out emergency response drills, assessed mock fire-related casualties, administered first aid, and performed stretcher operations as part of the simulation.
The successful drill strengthened MMPRC’s culture of preparedness, discipline, and resilience, emphasizing the importance of always staying alert and ready to respond to emergencies.
