MMPRC Strengthens Barangay Health Services with Turnover of Medicines and Medical Apparatus

 

 

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC), through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), turned over essential medicines to Barangay Wasian and medical apparatus to Barangay Libuac at a ceremony on March 13, 2026. The initiative enhances healthcare delivery in these communities. It provides Barangay Wasian with essential medicines for common illnesses and equips Barangay Libuac with medical equipment to improve emergency response and routine health services.
 
Hon. Jenny S. Calongo, Barangay Captain of Wasian, and Hon. Kirkja Fuentes, Barangay Captain of Libuac, attended the turnover, along with other barangay council members and health workers. For. Gladess Dianne S. Buot, TLCR Manager, and personnel from the Community Relations Office represented MMPRC.
Through this project, MMPRC reinforces its commitment to inclusive and sustainable development, ensuring all barangays in Rosario benefit from programs that improve residents' health, safety, and well-being.
