Since its founding in 2022 with 78 members, the association has made significant progress, with 14 women selected to undergo a 15-day training in dressmaking and tailoring. Funded with Php 30,000.00 through the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) of Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) and carried out with the support of BLGU Libertad, the initiative aimed not only to provide new skills but also to build a stronger foundation for livelihood and sustainability.

On March 21, 2026, the PGECC Multipurpose Cooperative, the cooperative exclusive to regular employees of the Philsaga Group of Companies, successfully held its 5th Annual Regular General Assembly Meeting, marking another milestone in its continued growth and development. Eager members started arriving even before 11am to register and participate in the meeting. Around 500 members attended in person. The Board of Directors, led by Chairperson Marie Glenn Cedeño-Sorila, presided over the meeting. Each of the Committee Heads presented their reports to update the general membership on the cooperative’s performance in 2025 and inform them of plans for 2026.

The Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC) conducted a full-scale fire drill at the ECS compound on 19 March 2026, demonstrating its strong commitment to emergency preparedness. The Safety and Health Department led the activity, and the Bureau of Fire Protection Rosario supported the exercise.

Fostering Community Development: PMC turns over five SDMP projects to Barangay Poblacion !

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Twelve out of fifteen out-of-school youth (OSY) from Barangay Bayugan 3 have completed a 20-day Skills Training on Carpentry NCII under the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) of Philsaga Mining Corporation. The culmination was held on July 18, 2025, in partnership with the BLGU of Bayugan 3, Sangguniang Kabataan, TESDA, and the Agusan del Sur School of Arts and Trades (ASSAT).
