Philsaga Mining Corporation and Philsaga Employees Association and Labor Union Mark Continued Partnership with Collective Bargaining Agreement

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) and the Philsaga Employees Association and Labor Union (PSELU) reaffirmed their commitment to a harmonious and productive working relationship by formally signing their new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). While details of the new CBA are expected to be fully disclosed in the coming days, the negotiations indicate a strong focus on improving economic provisions, health and safety benefits, and other non-economic aspects that contribute to employee well-being and productivity.

Bridging the Healthcare Gap: Turnover of Medical Equipment & Supplies

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR- The Community Relations Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), turned over medical supplies and equipment at Barangay Covered Court, Poblacion, Bunawan, ADS. Represented by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Sylvia B. Elorde, and the seven (7) Barangays of Bunawan: Consuelo, Poblacion, San Teodoro, Mambalili, Imelda, San Andres, and San Marcos, represented by their respective Barangay Captains. The presence of the Municipal Health Officer, Barangay Health Workers, the Chief of the Social Development Section of MGB XIII, the TLCR Manager of Philsaga Mining Corporation, and the Community Relations Office personnel. Ensuring that even the most remote communities have access to essential healthcare delivery.

A blood for a cause: PMC employees extends their support to save lives

Rosario, Agusan del Sur – A drop can make a change, donating blood can extend the lives of those in need. In partnership with the Philippine Red Cross –AgSur chapter and the Philsaga Mining Hospital, the advocacy is supported with the active participation of approximately 100 PMC employees to the semi-annual bloodletting activity in the premise of the Philsaga Mining Company.

PHILIPPINE ARMY EOD BATTALION STAGES LIVE IED DETONATION DURING LESP TRAINING AT PHILSAGA MINING CORPORATION

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - As part of its continued commitment to strengthening the capabilities of its Security and Enforcement Group (SEG), Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) hosted a specialized Improvised Explosive Device (IED) orientation and live detonation demonstration on June 5, 2025, at the SEG Office. The training formed part of the ongoing License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP) program, with the Philippine Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Battalion serving as guest trainers.

1st Integrated IEC Day and Safety Fair Kicks Off

On July 4. 2024, the Mine Covered Court in barangay Consuelo, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur buzzed with excitement as it hosted the inaugural Integrated Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Day and Safety Fair. Different mine departments and contractors, including Mount Rock Powder Corporation, Nitro Pacific Rockworks, Inc., OPUS, Marilag, and Optijobs Manpower Agency, actively participated, showcasing a solid commitment to safety and health.

PMC LAUNCHES COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL MISSION IN HOST COMMUNITY

In a significant move to enhance community welfare, Philsaga Mining Corporation, through its Social and Development and Management Program (SDMP), initiated a comprehensive medical mission in its host community, Barangay Consuelo, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. This endeavor underscores the company's dedication to the health and well-being of its residents, reflecting its broader commitment to social development. The 1-day activity provided a range of essential healthcare services. These include Medical Health Check-ups, Free dental services, tooth extraction and minor dental procedures, Vision screenings and distribution of reading and corrective eyeglasses, Operation Tuli (Circumcision), essential medicines and vitamins, ensuring access to necessary treatments, and free haircuts—that cost Php 350,000.00.
