The Fire Square Roadshow, held at Bayugan City, was part of Fire Prevention Month and aimed to enhance fire safety awareness while encouraging collaboration among public safety sectors.

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR- The Community Relations Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), turned over medical supplies and equipment at Barangay Covered Court, Poblacion, Bunawan, ADS. Elorde, and the seven (7) Barangays of Bunawan: Consuelo, Poblacion, San Teodoro, Mambalili, Imelda, San Andres, and San Marcos, represented by their respective Barangay Captains. The presence of the Municipal Health Officer, Barangay Health Workers, the Chief of the Social Development Section of MGB XIII, the TLCR Manager of Philsaga Mining Corporation, and the Community Relations Office personnel. Ensuring that even the most remote communities have access to essential healthcare delivery.

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR—Intending to maintain its commitments to the environment in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) and Mindanao Mineral Processing Corporation (MMPRC) successfully concluded their second two-week-long Internal Audit on September 6, 2024.

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – The signing of  Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) took place on March 15, 2024, held at  Community Information Center in Sitio Padugusan, Sta. Cruz, Rosario Agusan del Sur; the Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC) and the ten (10) new scholarship grantees from Barangay Wasian under the Development of Host and Neighboring Communities (DHNC), specifically in the College Assistance Program for non-mining-related courses, and the four (4) new scholarship grantees under the Development of Mining Technology and Geosciences (DMTG) program for mining-related courses. The BLGU Wasian, represented by its Punong Barangay, Hon. Jenny S. Calongo and the  overjoyed and proud parents and  guardians was also present.

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) and the Philsaga Employees Association and Labor Union (PSELU) reaffirmed their commitment to a harmonious and productive working relationship by formally signing their new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). While details of the new CBA are expected to be fully disclosed in the coming days, the negotiations indicate a strong focus on improving economic provisions, health and safety benefits, and other non-economic aspects that contribute to employee well-being and productivity.

Forty department heads and representatives of Philsaga Mining Corporation attended the 2023 Basic Incident Command System Training held last October 19-21, at Safety Training Hall, Consuelo, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur.
