Philsaga Mining Corporation and Philsaga Employees Association and Labor Union Mark Continued Partnership with Collective Bargaining Agreement

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) and the Philsaga Employees Association and Labor Union (PSELU) reaffirmed their commitment to a harmonious and productive working relationship by formally signing their new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). While details of the new CBA are expected to be fully disclosed in the coming days, the negotiations indicate a strong focus on improving economic provisions, health and safety benefits, and other non-economic aspects that contribute to employee well-being and productivity.

Biodiversity Management Bureau - Caraga (BMB- Caraga): Pilot testing for Reference Ecosystem and Biodiversity Expenditure Tagging

Philsaga Mining Corporation, in collaboration with the DENR UNDP/GEF Biodiversity Corridor Project, began piloting procedures to establish a Reference Ecosystem and implement Biodiversity Expenditure Tagging within the mining tenement from March 9–13, 2026. This activity supports DENR Administrative Order No. 2022-04, which requires mining companies to designate 5% of their approved tenements as Biodiversity Reference Ecosystems.

Flooded victims of Bunawan receive immediate relief assistance

Bunawan, Agusan del Sur – The low-lying areas of the municipality are now underwater after continuous days of heavy rainfall. The Philsaga Mining Corporation spearheaded by Atty. Raul C. Villanueva promptly reached out to the hundreds of evacuees together with Bunawan Mayor Sylvia Elorde of the Local Government Units (LGUs) in providing goods and rice, yesterday of February 5, 2024, in support to the increasing needs of the community in line to the company's mission in contributing the overall resilience in facing such challenges.
