Philsaga Steps Up Support for Education with New Batch of DHNC Applicants

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - The Community Relations Office of Philsaga Mining Corporation conducted a written and oral examination on July 28–29, 2025, for 47 incoming 1st and 2nd-year college students enrolled in non-mining-related courses. Niño Chapel of Barangay Consuelo, Bunawan, ADS. This initiative addresses the growing attendance during church activities, with monoblock chairs chosen for their durability and low maintenance. The turnover ceremony was attended by Hon. Gregorio Maloloy-on, Sr., Punong Barangay of BLGU-Consuelo, and Hon. Emelio Saberdo, Punong Barangay of BLGU-Bunawan Brook, alongside Community Relations personnel and representatives from each religious sector. A simple chair handover symbolized community solidarity and interfaith harmony, that brings joy and gratitudes.

PMC Aids Barangays with Medical Supplies through SDMP

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR — In a continued effort to improve community healthcare services, Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC), through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), turned over Php 200,000.00 worth of medicines and medical equipment to Barangay Consuelo, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur on April 11, 2025.

"Our objective is to enhance the vigilance and response capability of our personnel, particularly their ability to recall critical details under stress," Gregorio stated. "Observation accuracy and dependable memory recall remain core elements of effective security operations." The highlight of the training was a simulation of checkpoint inspections applying the Plain View Doctrine, during which participants were evaluated on their ability to detect suspicious indicators, articulate observations, and deliver accurate descriptions under time-sensitive conditions. The successful conduct of the ODEX and Memory Training underscores PMC's unwavering commitment to maintaining a disciplined, observant, and operationally capable security force—one fully prepared to safeguard company personnel, assets, and premises.

Preparedness Saves Lives

The Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC) conducted a full-scale fire drill at the ECS compound on 19 March 2026, demonstrating its strong commitment to emergency preparedness. The Safety and Health Department led the activity, and the Bureau of Fire Protection Rosario supported the exercise.
