PMC TIGERS ABLAZE AT THE FIRE PREVENTION MONTH CELEBRATION FINALE

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Tigers unleashed competence towards fire safety at the recently concluded Philsaga Mining Corporation’s Fire Prevention Month Celebration at PMC Covered Court, Consuelo, Bunawan last March 19, 2024. Consuelo Mine Security and Enforcement Department (CMSED) bagged the overall championship, the Explosives Department and Mine Environmental Protection and Enhancement Office (MEPEO) topped the Fire Extinguisher competition. In contrast, the Geology Department bagged Champion for the Fire Hydrant Target Competition, and the Mechanical Department won the Bucket Relay competition. The Compliance and Emergency Management Section aims to practice safety awareness for every employee, especially for fire response and control, now that the country celebrates Fire Prevention Month.

SHD-CEM starts PMC Safety Day Celebration for 2024

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR –SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY: With its dedication to striving for zero lost-time accidents while ensuring full compliance with safety regulations, which aims for continual improvement, Safety and Health Department in robust implementation with Compliance and Emergency Management, Philsaga Mining Corporation continues its Information, Education and Communication (IEC) as the inauguration of the activities for PMC Safety Day 2024 held at Nitro Contracting Services(Old Motor pool) last April 16. Hundreds of PMC employees and service contractors crowded the engaging IEC with its games and quizzes. The section also gives merchandise to the winners, which makes the participants enjoy the activity and makes their learning even more special. The section will carry on with its events and IEC campaigns throughout the year.

Bridging the Healthcare Gap: Turnover of Medical Equipment & Supplies

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR- The Community Relations Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), turned over medical supplies and equipment at Barangay Covered Court, Poblacion, Bunawan, ADS. Represented by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Sylvia B. Elorde, and the seven (7) Barangays of Bunawan: Consuelo, Poblacion, San Teodoro, Mambalili, Imelda, San Andres, and San Marcos, represented by their respective Barangay Captains. The presence of the Municipal Health Officer, Barangay Health Workers, the Chief of the Social Development Section of MGB XIII, the TLCR Manager of Philsaga Mining Corporation, and the Community Relations Office personnel. Ensuring that even the most remote communities have access to essential healthcare delivery.

Philsaga Mining Corporation and Philsaga Employees Association and Labor Union Mark Continued Partnership with Collective Bargaining Agreement

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) and the Philsaga Employees Association and Labor Union (PSELU) reaffirmed their commitment to a harmonious and productive working relationship by formally signing their new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). While details of the new CBA are expected to be fully disclosed in the coming days, the negotiations indicate a strong focus on improving economic provisions, health and safety benefits, and other non-economic aspects that contribute to employee well-being and productivity.

Philsaga Delivers LED Wall to San Francisco Through SDMP

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC), in partnership with the PMC-MMPRC Foundation Inc. (PMFI), has officially turned over a 3x3-meter outdoor LED wall to the PMC Press Corps Group Inc. (PPCGI) at Shell Station, Barangay Hubang, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, on 4 August 2025. Valued at Php 1,101,559.90, the project was funded through PMC’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Philsaga Steps Up Support for Education with New Batch of DHNC Applicants

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - The Community Relations Office of Philsaga Mining Corporation conducted a written and oral examination on July 28–29, 2025, for 47 incoming 1st and 2nd-year college students enrolled in non-mining-related courses. The examination was held at the Community Information Center in Padigusan, Sta. Cruz, Rosario, Agusan del Sur.
