BASIC OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH (BOSH) TRAINING

Safety Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign on First Responder Training

The Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation successfully conducted a three (3)-day First Responder Training on March 16-18, 2026, as part of its ongoing Safety IEC Campaign. The Safety Department facilitated an activity to strengthen employees' knowledge, skills, and preparedness for responding effectively to various emergency situations.

PMC LAUNCHES COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL MISSION IN HOST COMMUNITY

In a significant move to enhance community welfare, Philsaga Mining Corporation, through its Social and Development and Management Program (SDMP), initiated a comprehensive medical mission in its host community, Barangay Consuelo, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. This endeavor underscores the company's dedication to the health and well-being of its residents, reflecting its broader commitment to social development. The 1-day activity provided a range of essential healthcare services. These include Medical Health Check-ups, Free dental services, tooth extraction and minor dental procedures, Vision screenings and distribution of reading and corrective eyeglasses, Operation Tuli (Circumcision), essential medicines and vitamins, ensuring access to necessary treatments, and free haircuts—that cost Php 350,000.00.

PHILIPPINE ARMY EOD BATTALION STAGES LIVE IED DETONATION DURING LESP TRAINING AT PHILSAGA MINING CORPORATION

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - As part of its continued commitment to strengthening the capabilities of its Security and Enforcement Group (SEG), Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) hosted a specialized Improvised Explosive Device (IED) orientation and live detonation demonstration on June 5, 2025, at the SEG Office. The training formed part of the ongoing License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP) program, with the Philippine Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Battalion serving as guest trainers.

Gift Giving: Celebrating with the Children of Barangay Maligaya

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Atty. Raul C. Villanueva, president of Philsaga Mining Corporation, celebrated his birthday with a gift-giving event at Maligaya Integrated School for more than 500 kids. The PMC-MMPRC Foundation, Inc., volunteers, and barangay officials gathered to distribute various gifts, including food packs, slippers, and candies. The kindergarten to sixth-grade children were excited and grateful as they received their gifts. Teachers and parents have noted how such events contribute to a positive learning environment and inspire students to pursue their education enthusiastically.

Religious Group Brace by Philsaga's Support through SDMP Initiative

BUNAWAN AGUSAN DEL SUR – Today, the Community Relations Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation's SDMP, handed over 709 monoblock chairs to various religious sectors in Barangay Bunawan Brook & Sr. Sto. Niño Chapel of Barangay Consuelo, Bunawan, ADS. This initiative addresses the growing attendance during church activities, with monoblock chairs chosen for their durability and low maintenance. The turnover ceremony was attended by Hon. Gregorio Maloloy-on, Sr., Punong Barangay of BLGU-Consuelo, and Hon. Emelio Saberdo, Punong Barangay of BLGU-Bunawan Brook, alongside Community Relations personnel and representatives from each religious sector. A simple chair handover symbolized community solidarity and interfaith harmony, that brings joy and gratitudes.
