ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - The 3-day audit successfully concluded on March 14, 2024, and the retention of its ISO 14001:2015 Certification from Certification International Philippines, Inc. (CIP) was conducted by auditors Engr. Arnel D. Guevarra and Ms. Ofelia B. Domingo. The audit thoroughly evaluated the company’s management system in demonstrating the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. Attended by the company’s key personnel PMC Vice President – Engr. Ferdinand A. Cortes, PMC Senior AVP/Resident Manager – Engr. Alvin B. Castaños, PMC Division Managers, and the rest of the EMS Working Committee actively participated in the audit process.

Philsaga Mining Corporation and Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation joined in celebrating the 122nd Labor Day with the theme "Sa Bagong Pilipinas: Manggagawang Pilipino, Kabalikat at Kasama sa pag-asenso." The companies conducted and facilitated various activities initiated by the Human Resource Department in partnership with the Labor Union, such as the Fun Run Activity, Zumba Dance, Labor Day Hunt, Traditional Games (Laro ng Lahi), Exhibition games in Basketball and Volleyball, and Libring Gupit.

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC), in partnership with the PMC-MMPRC Foundation Inc. (PMFI), has officially turned over a 3x3-meter outdoor LED wall to the PMC Press Corps Group Inc. (PPCGI) at Shell Station, Barangay Hubang, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, on 4 August 2025. Valued at Php 1,101,559.90, the project was funded through PMC’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - PMC’s Human Resources Department held a tree planting activity on its third-day celebration of Women’s Month in the Katipayan area on March 20, 2024, with the assistance of Mine Environmental Protection and Enhancement Office (MEPEO) personnel. Women from different departments joined to plant trees, contributing to environmental sustainability. The activity aims to honor the contribution of women to society through this green and clean environment.

PMC earlier this year acquired a portable X-Ray Fluorescence (pXRF) analyser through the Exploration Division in order to streamline acquisition of assay results.

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - As part of its continued commitment to strengthening the capabilities of its Security and Enforcement Group (SEG), Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) hosted a specialized Improvised Explosive Device (IED) orientation and live detonation demonstration on June 5, 2025, at the SEG Office. The training formed part of the ongoing License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP) program, with the Philippine Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Battalion serving as guest trainers.
