Day Care Teachers receives Tech boost through SDMP

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Today, the Community Relation Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation's Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) turned over 4 sets of Computer and one-unit printer to 4 Day Care Teachers, held at Barangay Hall, Poblacion, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. Represented by the BLGU Officials spearheaded by Hon. Antonio A. Barrios, Day Care Teachers, and Community Relations Office personnel. The SDMP initiative enhances the learning experience for children and support teachers in delivering more dynamic and effective education.

Bridging the Healthcare Gap: Turnover of Medical Equipment & Supplies

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR- The Community Relations Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), turned over medical supplies and equipment at Barangay Covered Court, Poblacion, Bunawan, ADS. Represented by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Sylvia B. Elorde, and the seven (7) Barangays of Bunawan: Consuelo, Poblacion, San Teodoro, Mambalili, Imelda, San Andres, and San Marcos, represented by their respective Barangay Captains. The presence of the Municipal Health Officer, Barangay Health Workers, the Chief of the Social Development Section of MGB XIII, the TLCR Manager of Philsaga Mining Corporation, and the Community Relations Office personnel. Ensuring that even the most remote communities have access to essential healthcare delivery.

PMC/MMPRC Holds Public Scoping for the Planned Expansion

Led by PMC/MMPRC Vice President Engr. A. Cortes and Resident Manager Engr. Alvin B. Castaños, key stakeholders – including representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Regional Office, Environmental Management Bureau (EMB), Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB), Indigenous Peoples groups, local government units (municipal and barangay), the Provincial Government Office, and various non-government organizations – were invited to have a meaningful discussion on the relevant views on the environmental, social and economic impact of the planned expansion. The issues and concerns raised during the Public Scoping will be carefully considered in decision-making, ensuring that mitigation measures, development benefits, and opportunities for affected communities are effectively addressed.

Strengthening Security: Capacitating Philsaga Mining Corporation's Quick Reaction Force

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - In a proactive move to boost the effectiveness and readiness of its Quick Reaction Force (QRF), the Security and Enforcement Group (SEG) of Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) commenced a specialized training program on February 20, 2024. The 14-day intensive course on the PMC premises is designed to prepare the QRF personnel to handle emergencies and unforeseen incidents efficiently.

Break Ground on 4-Hectare Calamansi Farm Project

PMC-MMPRC Foundation Inc. and Sinug-ang Peoples Organization (SPO) are proud to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for their joint project, a 4-hectare calamansi farm aimed at uplifting the lives of low-income households in Sinug-ang. The project, valued at 1.6M pesos and funded under PMC's Corporate Social Responsibility, will benefit 45 families of the SPO and generate significant economic activity in the community.
