EARTHQUAKE DRILL Boosts PMC Tigers

Consuelo, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur---On March 1, 2024, the Safety and Health Department, through the Compliance and Emergency Management section, conducted an Earthquake drill at the E15 Admin building. This activity aims to gauge the effectiveness of the established procedures for an Earthquake drill and determine the level of awareness of TIGERS in the event of emergencies like earthquakes. Additionally, the Safety and Health Department also practiced the Incident Command System (ICS), a systematic approach of Emergency response which aims to alleviate the response in all emergencies and inculcate in all employees the importance of adopting a common language for all emergency responders.

TIGERS Return to Masara: Relief Goods for the Landslide Victims

MACO, DAVAO DE ORO - It is not over, as the help continues to extend towards the affected residents of Masara with the second distribution of relief goods. The combined efforts of the PMC-MMPRC Foundation, Incorporated with the Philsaga Mining Corporation, Vitrinite, and PMC Press Corps brought over mats, blankets, clothes, 5 kilos of rice, and food packs to benefit 1000 families to aid the depleting supplies.

SAN FRANCISCO, AGUSAN DEL SUR- Members of the Representative of Host and Neighboring Communities (RHNC) have undergone comprehensive Capacity Training organized by the Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) and Mindanao Mineral Processing & Refining Corporation (MMPRC) in collaboration with Mines and Geosciences Bureau XIII today, February 27 held at RCBI Hotel, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur.

PMC-MGB: KICK-OFFS MINE SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS TRAINING

CONSUELO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - As the first step in the extensive mine safety and health standardizations, the Philsaga Mining Corporation, Safety and Health Department in partnership with the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region-13 conducted the training at PMC Covered Court, spearheaded by the MGB Personnel namely: Chief of Mines Safety and Health Section, Engr. Ritche B. Banacia, Senior Science Research Specialist, Engr. Sunshine Clen C. Roma, Project Development Officer, Engr. Jose Francisco E. Ensomo, Jr., and Monitoring Officer, Engr. Ezra Angel R. Lalisan. On the next day, February 28, 2024, the closing program and awarding ceremonies will commence.

A blood for a cause: PMC employees extends their support to save lives

Rosario, Agusan del Sur – A drop can make a change, donating blood can extend the lives of those in need. In partnership with the Philippine Red Cross –AgSur chapter and the Philsaga Mining Hospital, the advocacy is supported with the active participation of approximately 100 PMC employees to the semi-annual bloodletting activity in the premise of the Philsaga Mining Company.

Flooded victims of Bunawan receive immediate relief assistance

Bunawan, Agusan del Sur – The low-lying areas of the municipality are now underwater after continuous days of heavy rainfall. The Philsaga Mining Corporation spearheaded by Atty. Raul C. Villanueva promptly reached out to the hundreds of evacuees together with Bunawan Mayor Sylvia Elorde of the Local Government Units (LGUs) in providing goods and rice, yesterday of February 5, 2024, in support to the increasing needs of the community in line to the company's mission in contributing the overall resilience in facing such challenges.
