Rising from the Ashes: Philsaga Distributes School Supplies to Davao Fire Victims

21-C, DAVAO CITY — In response to the affected students who were left with nothing but ashes. The PMC-MMPRC Foundation, Inc. (PMFI) and Philsaga Press Corps Group, Inc. (PPCGI) team, led by Executive Director Reygela M. Decalit—under the Philsaga Mining Corporation— coordinated with Barangay Captain Joenard A. Grabillo to provide immediate relief. Over six hundred (600) packs of school supplies were distributed from Kindergarten to 6th Grade on November 20, 2025. This initiative is a statement on the value of education that no fire can burn, a support to their resilience to dream.

SAN FRANCISCO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - A family's home, which housed seven children, was destroyed in a devastating fire, leaving them with nothing. On 6 August 2025, PPCGI President, Mr. Richard Grande, and his dedicated team reached out to the PMFI Executive Director, Ms. Reygela Decalit, to collaborate on assisting the family, who are currently residing in Purok 6, Kalinawan, Barangay Tagapua.

A new Tribal Monitoring Station was recently inaugurated in Sitio Nangka, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, marking a significant step in collaborative environmental stewardship. Gift Giving: Celebrating with the Children of Barangay Maligaya

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Atty. Raul C. Villanueva, president of Philsaga Mining Corporation, celebrated his birthday with a gift-giving event at Maligaya Integrated School for more than 500 kids. The PMC-MMPRC Foundation, Inc., volunteers, and barangay officials gathered to distribute various gifts, including food packs, slippers, and candies. The kindergarten to sixth-grade children were excited and grateful as they received their gifts. Teachers and parents have noted how such events contribute to a positive learning environment and inspire students to pursue their education enthusiastically.

TIGERS Return to Masara: Relief Goods for the Landslide Victims

MACO, DAVAO DE ORO - It is not over, as the help continues to extend towards the affected residents of Masara with the second distribution of relief goods. The combined efforts of the PMC-MMPRC Foundation, Incorporated with the Philsaga Mining Corporation, Vitrinite, and PMC Press Corps brought over mats, blankets, clothes, 5 kilos of rice, and food packs to benefit 1000 families to aid the depleting supplies.
