PMC, MMPRC concludes this year's second ISO 14001:2015 Internal Audit

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR—Intending to maintain its commitments to the environment in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) and Mindanao Mineral Processing Corporation (MMPRC) successfully concluded their second two-week-long Internal Audit on September 6, 2024.

Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels Brings Services to PMC Employees

The Lingkod PAG-Ibig on Wheels arrived at Mill Covered Court. The mobile office will open its services to mill site employees for two consecutive days and to mine site employees on July 12, 2024. Among the services offered to employees are the Loyalty Card Plus Application and Member's Change of Information.

Turnover of TVL Equipment and School Supply

The Community Relations Office, through Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), successfully turned over TVL equipment to Bayugan 3 National High School and school supplies to the Child Development Center in Barangay 3, Rosario Agusan del Sur.

MMPRC-SDMP: Empowering Barangay Maligaya with Life-Saving Emergency Rescue Vehicle

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR –On May 20, 2024, the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Maligaya in Rosario, Agusan del Sur, received a One-unit Barangay Emergency Rescue Vehicle (ERV). This significant donation, facilitated through the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) of the Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC), includes accessories valued at Php 644,917.06. The rescue vehicle, a crucial addition to the community, is intended to significantly enhance essential health services in the barangay, particularly in emergencies, thereby improving the overall well-being of the residents. 

Turn Over of Assessment Center TESDA Accreditation Certificate

The event, spearheaded by PHFI President COL Arthur G. Afdal, PA (RET), was a celebration of the achievement and a platform for positive feedback. The TESDA Regional Director, Jerry G. Tizon, and TESDA Provincial Director, Novelita A. Dispo, expressed their optimism about the potential to develop into a training center, given the heavy equipment readily available in the area. The Vice-President, Engr. Ferdinand A. Cortes, and Resident Manager, Engr. Alvin B. Castaños, representing the Philsaga Mining Corporation, voiced the company's support, further bolstering our confidence in the future prospects.
