SHD-CEM starts PMC Safety Day Celebration for 2024

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR –SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY: With its dedication to striving for zero lost-time accidents while ensuring full compliance with safety regulations, which aims for continual improvement, Safety and Health Department in robust implementation with Compliance and Emergency Management, Philsaga Mining Corporation continues its Information, Education and Communication (IEC) as the inauguration of the activities for PMC Safety Day 2024 held at Nitro Contracting Services(Old Motor pool) last April 16. Hundreds of PMC employees and service contractors crowded the engaging IEC with its games and quizzes. The section also gives merchandise to the winners, which makes the participants enjoy the activity and makes their learning even more special. The section will carry on with its events and IEC campaigns throughout the year.

PMC continues its week-long Women’s Month Celebration

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - PMC’s Human Resources Department held a tree planting activity on its third-day celebration of Women’s Month in the Katipayan area on March 20, 2024, with the assistance of Mine Environmental Protection and Enhancement Office (MEPEO) personnel. Women from different departments joined to plant trees, contributing to environmental sustainability. The activity aims to honor the contribution of women to society through this green and clean environment.

Bridging the Healthcare Gap: Turnover of Medical Equipment & Supplies

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR- The Community Relations Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), turned over medical supplies and equipment at Barangay Covered Court, Poblacion, Bunawan, ADS. Represented by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Sylvia B. Elorde, and the seven (7) Barangays of Bunawan: Consuelo, Poblacion, San Teodoro, Mambalili, Imelda, San Andres, and San Marcos, represented by their respective Barangay Captains. The presence of the Municipal Health Officer, Barangay Health Workers, the Chief of the Social Development Section of MGB XIII, the TLCR Manager of Philsaga Mining Corporation, and the Community Relations Office personnel. Ensuring that even the most remote communities have access to essential healthcare delivery.

Day Care Teachers receives Tech boost through SDMP

ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Today, the Community Relation Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation's Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) turned over 4 sets of Computer and one-unit printer to 4 Day Care Teachers, held at Barangay Hall, Poblacion, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. Represented by the BLGU Officials spearheaded by Hon. Antonio A. Barrios, Day Care Teachers, and Community Relations Office personnel. The SDMP initiative enhances the learning experience for children and support teachers in delivering more dynamic and effective education.

FIRE PREVENTION MONTH FLINCHES AT PMC TODAY

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR – With the Bureau of Fire Protection's theme, "Sa Pag iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa," the Philsaga Mining Corporations celebrated the 2024 Fire Prevention Month together with TIGERs at Mines Covered Court and this was attended by PMC Vice President - Engr. Ferdinand A. Cortes, PMC Resident Manager - Engr. Alvin B. Castaños, and TLCR Manager - For. Gladess Dianne S. Buot.

Religious Group Brace by Philsaga's Support through SDMP Initiative

BUNAWAN AGUSAN DEL SUR – Today, the Community Relations Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation's SDMP, handed over 709 monoblock chairs to various religious sectors in Barangay Bunawan Brook & Sr. Sto. Niño Chapel of Barangay Consuelo, Bunawan, ADS. This initiative addresses the growing attendance during church activities, with monoblock chairs chosen for their durability and low maintenance. The turnover ceremony was attended by Hon. Gregorio Maloloy-on, Sr., Punong Barangay of BLGU-Consuelo, and Hon. Emelio Saberdo, Punong Barangay of BLGU-Bunawan Brook, alongside Community Relations personnel and representatives from each religious sector. A simple chair handover symbolized community solidarity and interfaith harmony, that brings joy and gratitudes.
