The Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC), through its Safety Department, conducted a 3-Day Rope Rescue Training on June 18–20, 2026, facilitated by the Standard Technical Advanced Rescue Training (START) team. The training was attended primarily by members of the company’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) as part of their continuing development and preparedness program.

PMC President Atty. Raul C. Villanueva emphasized the importance of collaboration, stating: “For the Bunawan tribe to prosper, the LGU, the Bunawan tribe, and PMC need to be united to realize the development we aim for the tribe. Once the cultural center is constructed, the BMADMCI will have the opportunity to properly impart their ancestral traditions.” PMFI Executive Director Reygela M. Decalit emphasized, “The center is more than bricks and concrete; it is a symbol of our commitment to build knowledge, preserve the rich Manobo culture, and empower the future.”

This achievement reflects the collective participation and strong commitment of both employees and management in upholding safety standards and maintaining a safe, healthy workplace for all. As a gesture of appreciation, recognition tokens were awarded to all departments, led by the Safety Manager, Engr. Clement M. Chiu and CEM Section Head Engr. Renan n. Bronio, in recognition of their unwavering dedication and leadership in promoting workplace safety.

Philsaga Mining Corporation gathered its employees at the Mines and Mill Covered Court on February 12–13, 2026, to celebrate love, wellness, and unity through a meaningful Valentine’s program. The Human Resources Department, together with the company’s PMH-Medical Team, led the two-day event to strengthen camaraderie and promote workplace health awareness.

"Our objective is to enhance the vigilance and response capability of our personnel, particularly their ability to recall critical details under stress," Gregorio stated. "Observation accuracy and dependable memory recall remain core elements of effective security operations." The highlight of the training was a simulation of checkpoint inspections applying the Plain View Doctrine, during which participants were evaluated on their ability to detect suspicious indicators, articulate observations, and deliver accurate descriptions under time-sensitive conditions. The successful conduct of the ODEX and Memory Training underscores PMC's unwavering commitment to maintaining a disciplined, observant, and operationally capable security force—one fully prepared to safeguard company personnel, assets, and premises.

The MOA was officially signed and represented by respected community leaders: Hawudon Mabantao II Rodging O. Reyes for CAMMPACAMM, and Hawudon Taogdan Rolito S. Peñaloga for BMADMCI. The lasting partnership between PMC and the Manobo communities is a model for effective collaboration between industry and Indigenous Peoples, ensuring that development is inclusive and sustainable for all. From the community perspective, the tribal leaders expressed their enthusiasm for the continued collaboration, stating: "We are ready to hit the ground running and look forward to a long and successful relationship with the Philsaga Mining Corporation for the second time around."
