Philsaga Mining Corporation (PMC) is a company dealing in the exploration and extraction of gold. The gold is processed by its affiliate the Mindanao Mineral Processing & Refining Corporation (MMPRC), this came about through the acquisition of property interests of Banahao Mining & Development Corporation (BMD). PMC has been a subsidiary of the Australian MEDUSA Mining Lmtd. since 2004. In 2008, the Company was granted a Mineral Production Sharing Agreement (MPSA) with a renewable 25-year term. It is discussed in this video the mines and resources of the Philippines. Including detailed information on the multiple shafts and portals that have been upgraded to reach maximum productivity. There are three (3) major groups namely, The Geology & Exploration, the Mine Operations, and Mine Engineering & Planning, operating in tandem to obtain the daily target in terms of tons of ore delivered to the mill for processing in a manner that is safe and with minimal impact on the environment. PMC and MMPRC acquire investments for the mine and mill. Having a hospital within the mine ensures the safety and well-being of its miners. The company envisions enhancing and sustaining the quality of life for its people and local constituents through cooperation and participation.
